A great weekend at Jyväskylä. On Saturday Texforrier Get Off My Cloud went BOB and placed 4th in the terrier group. Texforrier And Proud Of It was BOS with cacib. Smooths and the terrier group were judged by Stefan Sinko, Slovenia. Our Standard Poodle Martina’s Gradiva went BOB under breed specialist Mikael Nilsson (Kudos, Sweden) and placed 4th in the group under Tamas Jakkel.

On Sunday Texforrier Get Off My Cloud was 2nd in the terrier group under Maite Gonzalbo, Spain. The breed was judged by Andreas Schemel, Austria. Martina’s Gradiva was BOB under Anthony Moran, Ireland.

FINNISH TERRIER CLUB’S NATIONAL SPECIALTY 2011, 27.8.2011

So proud of our little man! Texforrier Get Off My Cloud (Am Ch Lil'Itch Game On x Int Ch Optimo On A Sunrise High) went today BISS at the Finnish Terrier Club's National Specialty (all terrier breeds, 800 terriers entered). BIS was judged by Falk Sievert from Germany and the breed by Kimmo Mustonen.

PARIS WORLD DOG SHOW

We had a lovely time in Paris at the World Dog Show. Texforrier Get Off My Cloud went 3rd in juniors. Even if we didn't get any titles the trip was great! It was nice meeting Fox Terrier friends from all over the world and I was so glad that our little boy was highly appreciated by them

Our Smooth Collie Multi Ch Clingstone's No Doubt (co-owned with Jessica Larsson) won the second year in a row the World Winner title! In Paris the Smooths Collies were judged by Blaz Kavcic.

What a day! We are so proud of our Skäbä, who went BOB and BIS2 at his very first official show at 9 months and 4 days of age under breeder judge Jenny Thornton at an entry of 74 Smooths! He is a half sister to Texforrier Marimekko, who also won BOB at her first show at the National Specialty two years ago. This makes their dam Multi Ch Optimo On A Sunrise High the mom of two national specialty BOB winners! In fact she herself won the specialty in 2008, her daughter Marimekko won in 2009 and 2010 and now in 2011 her son Get Off My Cloud wins!

Sampo, Texforrier Just Because, won a class two competition and moved up to the top class (3rd class) in agility. The judge was Marjo Heino.

WHAT A YEAR WE HAD IN 2010!

FI & LV & LT & SL Ch WW-10 EUW-10 FIW-09-10 FIJW-09 NordJW-09 NordW-09 LVV-10 EEV-10 Texforrier Marimekko was BOB at the World Dog Show in Denmark and BOB and group 3rd at the European Winner Show in Slovenia. She was #1 Smooth Fox Terrier and #4 Terrier in Finland in 2010.

7 other Texforrier Smooths won CC’s during 2010. We finished 5 Finnish Champions and also 4 International Champions. Port Ch Texforrier Six-Shooter was #1 Smooth in Portugal in 2010. Dual Ch Texforrier Kolour Matters became a triple Champion when he finished his Agility Champion title, the second in the breed history in Finland!

Our Standard Poodle bitch Multi Ch Martina’s Gradiva was #6 all Breeds in Finland and won 2 all breed Best In Show’s.
